Konnor Griffin continued his multiple game on base streak to 11 Friday night.

His on base streak continued to 15 games. Griffin has been playing as advertised since the Pirates drafted him 9th overall in the 2024 MLB draft. He has only been hitting better since his promotion to Greensboro, yesterday being his first game without an extra base hit with the Grasshoppers.

An argument can be made that he has been better than advertised since playing games in the Pirates organization. His only question mark was his hit tool, and he has since been one of the best contact hitters in the organization with a 20% K-Rate in April, and a 10% K-Rate so far in June. He has pretty much halved his K-Rate each month this year.

Tonight Griffin and the Grasshoppers will face Adam Maier from the Rome Emperors of the Braves Organization. Maier has not been faring well this year with a 4.85 ERA and a very low K-Rate. Hopefully Konnor Griffin can take advantage.
